Rahel grote Lambers (b. 1996 in Eschwege, Germany) lives and works in Berlin. She studied Fine Arts at HFBK Hamburg and the Facultat de Belles Arts at Universitat de Barcelona.
Her artistic practice includes painting, sculpture and installations. In her work Rahel grote Lambers explores political ideologies and their powerful visual narratives in public and digital space. By placing politically charged narratives and aesthetics in the context of their underlying ideological framework, she deconstructs and recontextualizes visual elements, images and objects, thus constructing new layers of meaning. Her artistic practice engages with the visual language of political ideologies, creating both a playful exploration and critical examination of structures of power and dominance.
Rahel grote Lambers is part of the artist collective otc - Observant Thick Conversation.
